I did want to show these pictures I took at a museum we went to while we were in Jackson, WY. It was called the National Museum of Wildlife Art. It was a beautiful building built on the side of a hill. The inside was amazing and it had so much to look at. I couldn't take that many pictures inside, because they don't allow that with all the paintings, but there were a few places that I could take a couple snapshots.
The main reason we went there was because they had an exhibit of original drawings by Dr. Seuss. They were his drawings for the book "The Lorax." It was so cool to see his original
work for the book. The pictures you see in the book, pretty much look just like his original drawings. From the information we read, he was highly involved in the process and nothing moved on without his approval.
It was a fun couple of hours. Even the little one enjoyed it for that long too:) They had a great kids section where they could do hands-on activities, so that was a big hit with her!
Here are a few of the pictures from our time there...
This is where you can touch and feel the difference in the furs of some of the animals and learn about their habits and things like that.
More fur!
The entrance to the kids area.
We had a great time at the museum and I was glad we made it a part of our vacation.
