My brothers and sisters.

Know that, the forest is often termed as the lungs - pulmonary earth. And the forest is also a place of residence or habitat for the majority of living beings in this world. As well as the forest is also one of the causes of whether or not an environmental condition. Therefore, let along - together to keep the preservation of the forest around us.

Some may ask, why forests are often called or termed as the lungs - the lungs of the earth, why not the land, why not water or even only why not others? My answer is, because forests can maintain a stable environment of living things (as good an environment), because forests can prevent environmental pollution (air) emissions caused by transportation such as motorcycles, cars, trains, and exhaust gases (smoke) from the factory - mill industry in the world. Besides, the forest also can prevent or reduce the occurrence of natural disasters in a region such as landslides, floods, and drought. And the most important is the forest also can keep the ozone layer in the Earth's atmosphere, the ozone layer when it is reduced or thinned, will cause negative effects for populations living things, such as global warming that hit large areas of the earth without exception Indonesian. And one of the effects of global warming for Indonesia are already many islands - islands in our country has sunk due to partial melting chunks of ice in the north pole and south pole which is also caused by the effects of global warming. And of course this is very detrimental to our own country. Which may later island - the island can be used to anticipate overcrowding in our country.

In addition to forests as the lungs - lungs of the earth, the forest is also a place to stay that is essential for living things. One example is the orangutan. This animal is one step in the world of animals should be protected and bred by humans. These animals can not live long in the open (in a non-forest), then the animal is also not able to live in a small cage, Which was the thing has been done by some people, (especially for zoo officials in Indonesia) . Brothers - sisters, but on the fact that animals should be protected and cultivated by man, even more endangered due to some people who do not act responsibly. For instance in the case in Borneo, has been exposed in the news - the news a few days ago that there had been a massacre carried out by an orangutan owner of the company is there because it is considered a disturbance of this animal as a pet animal or vandal. Keep in mind that the animal does not attack someone if it is not life-threatening animals. And when the animal attacked someone, it signifies that his life is threatened or impaired safety. And like it or not the animal must defend itself by any means, for the salvation of his soul. DanAnda can also feel it when you are in the middle of the road and stopped when it was you in taxes. How do you feel? Of course you are trying to fight or defend themselves. So it is with these animals.

Through this opportunity, once again I say that let us continue to maintain and preserve the forest is all around us, in order to create a healthy environment, free from pollution or contamination which is very dangerous for the survival of living beings, to reduce or prevent the occurrence of natural disasters , and as well to deal with global warming is happening in the world today. Brothers - sisters, it can be done by:

1.Know that forests are important for living things, by continuing to participate partitioned (follow) seminar - a seminar or dissemination of sustainability.

2.Participated as well as playing an active role in the campaign for the importance of forest conservation. This is done by joining an organization that cares terhadapa sustainability.

3.Should be done by selective logging system, that takes into account the tree to be felled (worthy or not) and do not forget to ask permission from the government authorities or agencies that deal with such matters.

4.Reforestation (greening) routinely after logging.

5.Not dispose of material or something that could cause a forest fire.

6.Especially to the government, must take firm action against perpetrators who are not responsible in the destruction of forests. If you need to replace the culprit must have caused losses.

7.Specifically for student council, might be able to form longer an organization that deals with the problem of "Environment", so that the school is also playing an active role in protecting and preserving the forest, especially in my province ACEH-Indonesia with famous leuser forest.

I will convey the message that I hope will be a motivation to maintain and preserve our forests. My message is: "Try not to be put off - postpone doing something good in the future, because it may cause harm to your own, and try to appreciate the goodness in spite of your point of view it is just good that very few. Start learning from mistakes, and recall errors or intermediary for a road to success. Begin to Maintain and preserve existing forests around us, so that our grandchildren can feel the benefits are so great for them.
